As a Hardware Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of hardware solutions that meet stringent aerospace industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements, develop schematic designs, and assist in hardware testing and validation to ensure product reliability and performance.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
In this role, you will impact the development of advanced hardware systems that contribute to safer, more efficient, and innovative aerospace technologies, helping Honeywell maintain its leadership in the aerospace market.
• Assist in the design and development of complex hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine hardware requirements and specifications
• Support hardware testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware design issues
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging hardware technologies
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 2+ years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably in aerospace or related industries
• Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools
• Experience with hardware testing and validation methodologies to ensure product quality
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for hardware development in aerospace applications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience working in the aerospace industry or on aerospace hardware projects
• Knowledge of high-speed digital and analog circuit design
