JOB DESCRIPTION: Integrate hardware systems (compute, networking, sensors, power) in prototype and production vehicles. Commission and validate compute blades, communication networks (Ethernet, CAN, LIN), and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot hardware integration issues across multiple subsystems (power, connectivity, timing, thermal). Develop and maintain automation tools for commissioning, diagnostics, and verification. Support system bring-up, flashing, and initial configuration for production and prototype environments. Design and execute system verification plans covering compute performance, sensor connectivity, network reliability, and software functionality. Develop automated test suites to validate hardware–software interaction (e.g., CPU/GPU utilization, CAN message validation, PTP synchronization, sensor readiness). Perform functional, and stress testing on hardware components and subsystems. Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and drive corrective actions. Work closely with software and system teams to automate hardware test processes where applicable. Interface with manufacturing, mechanical, software, and system integration teams for end-to-end product development. Work closely with build, software, networking, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth system integration from prototype to production. Support field testing, data collection, and on-site debugging of hardware issues. Mentor junior engineers and technicians in best practices for design and validation. Should able to use hardware validation tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, CANoe, DMM), Network tools (Wireshark, chronyc, SSH automation). Shall be good at scripting in Python/Bash for hardware automation, data logging, and remote test execution.
