Adaptive Regelsysteme GmbH (ADRESYS), a subsidiary of the OMICRON Group, is a growing development center (approx. 30 employees) specializing in testing solutions for the electrical power sector—among other products, the company located in Salzburg developed the COMPANO 100, a portable testing device for primary and secondary feeders and basic protection testing.

To strengthen and further develop our team, we are looking for a Hardware Developer for Electronics, 80-100% (f/m/x)

 Your role

•    You’ll work in an interdisciplinary team, designing and implementing electronic circuits based on state-of-the-art analog and digital technologies—knowledge of power electronics is a great fit for your profile.

•    You verify hardware quality through test series and measurements conducted throughout the development process, both in the lab and sometimes in the field (including EMC)

•    Together with other colleagues (firmware, software, mechanics etc.), you are jointly responsible for bringing together and integrating the electronic components into a working system

•    You will oversee our products from the initial idea through concept and prototype development all the way to production and maintenance

•    You will be part of a diverse development team and embody our culture of open review, exchange, and learning

What makes you a great fit

•    You have a solid educational background in electronics or electrical engineering

•    You have several years (>5) of experience in hardware development for analog and digital systems, as well as experience in EMC

•    You want to think beyond your specific field and understand an electronic system as a whole

•    Experience with Allegro (Cadence) is a plus, and

•    You know where the “hot end of the soldering iron” is

•    You enjoy team-oriented work; a respectful communication style and active exchange of ideas are important to you

•    You are comfortable with English

What our team appreciates most

·        A meaningful job: help make the energy supply more secure!

·        A small but excellent R&D team with strong technical expertise and quick decision-making processes

·        Plenty of creative freedom and real responsibility—you’ll help shape products and processes

·        A stable company with long-term prospects and a modern R&D focus

·        Work flexibly: whether you’re an early bird or a late sleeper, in the office or partly from home

·        A true work-life balance: gym, mindfulness training, and flexible working hours

·        No hierarchy: coaches give you freedom and encourage creativity

·        Have fun: with our team and at our monthly get-together

Passion and motivation are just as important to us as the job profile. If the position appeals to you, even if you don't fulfil every requirement, then convince us with your enthusiasm. Your commitment counts!
