Ledger Maintenance: Manage and maintain flawless financial records and general ledgers utilizing Xero accounting software.
Management Accounts: Prepare accurate monthly management accounts up to trial balance level to support business tracking.
Statutory Compliance: Execute monthly payroll processing and manage complete VAT returns in absolute compliance with SARS regulations.
Audit Readiness: Formulate comprehensive audit packs and compile all necessary supporting documentation for external auditors.
Stakeholder & Admin Coordination: Maintain a highly organized digital and physical financial filing system while serving as the primary operational liaison for the firm’s external accountants and auditors.
Bookkeeping Track Record: Proven, substantive experience operating as a Bookkeeper with a verified ability to manage full-function half-day workflows independently.
Xero Ecosystem Expertise: Advanced, proficiency navigating Xero accounting software.
Compliance Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of South African general accounting principles, VAT regulations, and basic payroll mechanics.
