We are recruiting on behalf of a purpose-driven, high-impact organisation seeking a dedicated, highly organised Bookkeeper & Finance Administrator on a flexible, half-day basis (Monday to Thursday).

What You’ll Be Doing
As the financial lead of this small team, you will keep day-to-day finances accurate, compliant, and up to date, while supporting the CEO with clear financial visibility:
- Bookkeeping & Banking: Perform weekly SageOne bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, manage disbursements, and track fund drawdowns.
- Invoicing & Debtors: Convert quotes to invoices, raise monthly membership, grant, and reimbursement invoices, send statements, and manage gentle collections.
- Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Process monthly salaries via Sage Cloud Payroll, issue payslips, submit SARS EMP201 / EMP501 declarations, handle UIF submissions, and submit annual COIDA/OID returns.
- Management Accounts & Budgeting: Close off monthly books, build simple monthly management packs (Income, Expenses, Cash Flow, Debtors), and assist the CEO during 6-month rolling budget and cash flow reviews.
- Grant & Funder Financial Admin: Track, code, and organise grant-funded income and expenses to ensure seamless, stress-free donor reporting and audits.
- Audit Readiness: Maintain clean, well-organised electronic records and supporting documents throughout the year so annual audits run smoothly.
- Light Administration Support: Coordinate occasional travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, car hire) for team facilitators and contractors.
