Job Description:

Job Summary
UPS Healthcare is looking for a Health & Safety Specialist to join our team in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid). This position plays a key role in managing, analyzing, and reporting Health & Safety data, ensuring full regulatory compliance and supporting a culture of continuous improvement across our sites located in Madrid and Barcelona. Holding all three official Health & Safety specializations (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics & Applied Psychosociology) is a mandatory requirement.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare regulatory reports and ensure full compliance with Spanish occupational health and safety legislation.
• Maintain and update Health & Safety data in corporate systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and visibility across reporting platforms.
• Generate and distribute reports on safety KPIs, incidents, training compliance, and other relevant indicators to support decision-making.
• Analyze trends and conduct audits to identify risk factors and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor and manage accident and incident case workflows, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
• Conduct on-site safety observations and support training activities to promote a strong safety culture.
• Provide technical advice and collaborate with local teams and management to embed health & safety best practices.

🎓 Requirements

• University degree (preferably in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related discipline).
• Certified Health & Safety professional in Spain in the three official specialties:
  • Occupational Safety
  • Industrial Hygiene
  • Ergonomics & Applied Psychosociology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a H&SE department in logistics, pharmaceutical, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advance command in English (Minimum B2 level ).
• The role will require occasional travel to our facilities in Barcelona.
