About the location:

About the role:

The Gym Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance to guests in all aspects of fitness and well-being. This will include classes, specific training, inductions and general gym monitoring.

What you will do:

• Be knowledgeable of the Resort’s daily events, VIP guest, in-house groups, guest offerings, etc. and be as resourceful as possible to guests.

• Understand and enforce safety procedures specific to usage of Fitness Center equipment and facilities.

• Work closely with Gym Coordinator to develop and promote daily “WOD – “Work out of the day”.

• Set-up/tear-down amenities in all respective areas of the Fitness Center in a timely manner at the start or at the end of each shift.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Fitness Center.

What you bring:

• 6 months of work experience in a physical fitness facility, hotel, or spa, preferably within the high end/luxury market. .

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, preferably have a working knowledge of Book4Time, or equivalent operating system.

• Fundamental knowledge fitness and nutrition best practices. Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
