  • Create and execute account-based growth strategies for priority agencies and programs.

Government Sales Leadership

  • Personally engage with strategic opportunities and executive stakeholders to advance and close complex deals.

  • Build senior-level relationships across agencies including the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and other priority government organizations.

  • Lead opportunity strategy, qualification, pipeline development, forecasting, and deal execution.

  • Serve as executive sponsor for key pursuits and strategic customer relationships.

Organizational Development & Team Leadership

  • Assess, build, and evolve the government sales organization to support long-term growth objectives.

  • Lead, coach, and develop government sales resources, including Strategic Account Managers and Solution Executives.

  • Recommend organizational design, hiring priorities, territory strategies, and resource investments needed to achieve growth objectives.

  • Establish operating cadence, performance metrics, accountability structures, and best practices.

Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Develop a comprehensive government go-to-market strategy aligned to Sphera’s broader corporate objectives.

  • Evaluate market trends, procurement dynamics, budget priorities, and competitive positioning to guide investment decisions.

  • Build strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and teaming agreements that enhance market access and growth potential.

  • Represent Sphera at industry events, conferences, and government forums to strengthen market presence and generate new opportunities.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish forecasting discipline, pipeline management processes, account segmentation, and performance measurement frameworks.

  • Implement scalable sales methodologies and operating processes that support predictable growth.

  • Provide regular business reviews and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

  • Monitor progress against revenue, pipeline, market penetration, and organizational development objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
