Overview:

Must be knowledgeable in computer skills and capable of learning to operate Autonomous equipment from a remote computer system with up to 8 sprayers.  To continually analyze ongoing operations through computer readouts and make decisions to optimize operations. Supervises and coordinates activities within the department.  Supervise application activities for pest disease, and chemical weed control.  Must be able to calibrate spray equipment. Must be able to work during day or night schedules. Some travel may be required.

Here is what you’ll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate activities pertaining to the Pest Control applications, calibration knowledge required
• Implement recommended treatment programs to achieve effective, economic control
• Competent computer skills required
• Communication with Spray and Ranch Supervisors
• Work at times up to 7 days a week and between 55-75 hours per week
• Maintain Department equipment to meet readiness and operational needs
• Implement and maintain worker safety programs that comply with all governmental regulations
• Four plus years’ experience in production AG

Here is what you’ll bring to the table:

• Bilingual; English/Spanish desired
• Ability to read and write in English
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures including converting units of measures
• Be able to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous basis and 100 lbs. on occasion 
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license, Good driving record
• Basic mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills or the ability to learn them (email, scan reports, basic writing skills)

Pay Range: $70,345.60 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
