Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Business System Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Guidewire Policy Center (GWPC) and a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. This role involves system analysis, data extraction, policy migration, and SQL querying to support key business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guidewire Policy Center Expertise: Work extensively with Guidewire Policy Center (GWPC), ensuring seamless integrations and functionality.
- Data Mapping & ETL Transformation: Document mappings between Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and GWPC, along with ETL transformations and other related requirements.
- Renewal Data Extraction: Extract and manage the renewal list daily for input into GWPC.
- Policy Migration Support: Assist in policy migration activities, ensuring a smooth transition of data and processes.
- SQL Query Execution: Run and analyze SQL queries to extract, validate, and manipulate data.
- Business & System Analysis: Analyze customer needs, current business processes, and systems to recommend improvements.
- Insurance Domain Expertise: Utilize P&C insurance knowledge to align system capabilities with business needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience working with Guidewire Policy Center (GWPC).
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance processes and terminology.
- Experience in data mapping between PAS & GWPC, including ETL transformations.
- Hands-on experience in SQL querying for data extraction and validation.
- Ability to analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Prior experience with policy migration is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Guidewire modules is a plus.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and best practices.
- Prior experience in large-scale insurance transformation projects.
