Role Description:
Farmers Group seeks an Guidewire Developer II to be responsible for the development, design, testing and/or deployment of system functionality. Specific duties include: code instructions for computer programs/objects/components in multiple applications; configure packaged software; provide expertise in the solution design and functionality of business applications; review and validate application technical design of team members to ensure alignment with business needs and best practice architecture principles; analyze and evaluate existing manual and computerized systems/procedures to improve efficiency; research and develop techniques for automation; document and implement programs according to installation standards and conventions; analyze and make recommendations on the need for system backup, security, restart/recovery, balance controls and recommend approaches for meeting such needs; and identify complex errors that occur in application testing and analyzing results to trouble shoot and execute root cause analysis.
