Go To Market Capability (GTMC) organization aims for:

  • Centralization of Go-to-Market excellence and operational tasks across GBUs

  • Harmonizing best-in-class capabilities with strengthened global support while verticalization of reporting within GTMC from local to global,

  • Defining clear ways of working and bringing clarity on interfaces with GBUs, Digital, and executional support on commercial operations form Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency.

Sanofi Greater China is facing a high pace of changes aiming at making the organization across GBUs more agile and impactful organization, adapting the constantly and proactively the resources to the environmental changes.

Field Force Excellence (FFE) is a strategic focus of Sanofi China with high attention from GBU leadership team, with a North Star vision to deliver best-in-class commercial capabilities to drive impeccable customer facing execution to generate impact in terms of outstanding customer experience and high-performance reach. As a critical role within this agenda, the FFE Excellence Manager is responsible for shaping FFE strategy across key initiatives and driving end-to-end execution, conducting cross-GBU analysis to generate actionable business insights, and collaborating with Digital and internal teams to design and implement innovative programs such as Account Approach.

Main responsibilities:

 

Strategy development and execution:

 

  • Develop and formulate annual FFE strategic roadmap aligned with business priorities, defining clear objectives, milestones, and success metrics for each key initiative

  • Identify and prioritize FFE improvement opportunities through regular reviews, translating strategic gaps into actionable initiative plans with defined owners and timelines

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives for FFE key activities including customer engagement, territory management, call planning, and performance optimization, ensuring alignment between activity-specific strategies and overall FFE roadmap while driving continuous improvement in critical operational processes

  • Collaborate with Hub team to develop AI application roadmap for FFE core workflows, identifying key processes where AI can add value and driving the implementation and landing of AI initiatives in FFE operations

 

Cross GBU performance analysis and insights generation:

 

  • FFE Internal Cross-GBU Analysis and Insights Generation

  • Design and execute cross-GBU benchmarking studies comparing field force productivity, customer coverage, and execution quality metrics to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities across business units

  • Generate monthly/quarterly business insight reports synthesizing field force resource allocation, field force performance data, customer engagement trends, and execution quality indicators, translating analysis into actionable recommendations for decision-making

  • Online Reporting Requirements Management and Dashboard Development

  • Manage FFE-related online reporting requirements by collecting stakeholder needs, prioritizing dashboard development requests, and defining reporting specifications aligned with business priorities

  • Drive the development and publication of online FFE dashboards by partnering with Digital, Analytics, FFE BP and Hub teams to design real-time performance tracking tools, automated reporting platforms, and interactive data visualization solutions

  • Ensure data accuracy and real-time availability in online platforms by establishing data governance protocols, monitoring dashboard performance, and continuously optimizing reporting infrastructure for reliability and accessibility

 

 

FFE platform (OneSales) and project management:

 

  • Own the OneSales platform project roadmap, serving as the primary business project manager responsible for feature prioritization, release planning, and end-to-end delivery of OneSales enhancements across GBUs

  • Partner with Digital to define business requirements, and drive successful rollout of new OneSales modules and system optimizations, ensuring platform capabilities meet field force needs

  • Lead OneSales user adoption and training programs, developing role-specific training materials, onboarding plans, and support mechanisms to maximize field team engagement and platform utilization (supported by Hub Team)

  • Monitor OneSales platform performance and usage analytics, identifying adoption gaps and system pain points, and driving continuous optimization to improve user experience and execution quality

  • Design and deliver innovative FFE programs — including Account Approach — through the OneSales platform, ensuring new collaboration models and customer segmentation frameworks are embedded into OneSales workflows for scalable field execution

  • Maintain transparent stakeholder reporting through regular OneSales project status updates to GBU leadership (supported by BP team), proactively flagging risks, tracking milestone delivery, and recommending course corrections

About you

Education:

Ÿ  Bachelor degree or above in science, engineering, medical, economics and management. MBA degree preferred.

 

Experience & knowledge:

Ÿ  5+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry; multinational company experience with large-scale field force preferred.

Ÿ  Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical field force models, territory alignment, and target-setting principles.

Ÿ  Deep understanding of field force performance tracking methodologies and supporting technologies.

Ÿ  Solid grasp of Field Force Effectiveness fundamentals, including customer segmentation and targeting.

Ÿ  Prior experience in FFE, field force management, or consulting preferred.

Ÿ  Project management experience required; change management experience in FFE transformation preferred.
