About Us:
Wrapbook is the AI platform for production finance. We’re building a system of action that puts finance teams in control of their whole production, from payroll, to spend, to accounting.
Built for feature films, TV, and commercials, Wrapbook is trusted by teams at Netflix, Paramount, Anonymous Content, and more. With backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Jeffrey Katzenberg's WndrCo, our team of 350+ is using AI to transform how finance teams work and empower them to do more with less.
The Opportunity - Senior Software Engineer II, Business Systems (Remote - USA / Canada)
You'll build the internal software that runs Wrapbook's marketing, sales, and client operations — full-stack: interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines. Salesforce is one of the systems you'll build in and integrate with, alongside the custom applications and services you'll own. This is an AI-native team: you'll use agentic coding tools to prototype fast and ship to production, work across a cloud data stack, and build LLM-powered features into the products you ship.
Who You Are:
You go to the work. You'd rather sit with an operator and watch the process than wait for a finished requirements doc.
You redesign the workflow, not just automate the task — you ask why a process exists in that shape before you build.
You're a real engineer who respects the platform. You've worked in Salesforce and don't consider it beneath you; when the no-code path runs out of road, you're who builds past it, bringing engineering rigor to a surface that's often had none.
You can hold the business conversation. Half the job is translating what an operator needs into what to build — and pushing back when the ask is wrong.
You know when the answer is an agent, when it's deterministic automation, and when it's not software at all.
You own ambiguity end-to-end — observe, build, validate, ship.
You've probably been an early engineer somewhere: a founding or small team where you wore every hat and shipped before the requirements were clear, or you work like someone
What You'll Do:
Design, build, and ship internal applications and services end-to-end, with clean architecture and long-term maintainability as the baseline.
Build and integrate APIs across the marketing, sales, and client operations stack — telephony, marketing automation, sales engagement, support, and BI — with reliable handoffs and schema integrity.
Build and own data pipelines that feed reporting and operational systems.
Extend and maintain our Salesforce platform (Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components) to the same engineering bar as everything else you build.
Design AI-native workflows and agents where they create real leverage, with the guardrails and human-in-the-loop controls to run them in production.
What You'll Have:
5+ years hands-on software engineering — full-stack, backend, or systems backgrounds preferred
Fluent in a modern language or two (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and quick to pick up the next
Experience with agentic coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex)
Fluent in SQL, and strong on data architecture — schema design, data modeling, and pipelines
Builds usable interfaces — UX/UI sense for internal tools people actually want to use
Designs API integrations with attention to schema mapping, error handling, and data fidelity
Has built or integrated with Salesforce (Apex, Flows, APIs) and is willing to keep going deep on it
Ships production software with version control, testing, and CI/CD as default
Owns the full development lifecycle — from requirements through UAT, release, and iteration
A point of view on where AI and agents create leverage in real workflows, from hands-on building
Bonus: entertainment or project-based industry experience; telephony integration (e.g., Zoom Contact Center); Salesforce certifications

What We Do
Employers in media production and the entertainment industry are constantly hiring. Freelance employees move between projects and could get onboarded 30 or more times in a single year. And yet, much of the industry uses physical paperwork with no easy way to track payments, often struggling with compliance (due to ever-changing laws and union rules), and has few automation processes in place when it comes time to send payroll reports to their accountants. Wrapbook is an intuitive payroll and insurance solution for those balancing multiple projects. With digital solutions, simplified compliance, and comprehensive reporting, we take the stress away so employers and project-based workers can focus on the big picture. Commercial producers, filmmakers, and anyone creating media deserve robust solutions to meet their unique demands. With Wrapbook, you only have to ask for documents from cast and crew once. Our platform lets you move all the onboarding forms associated with any crew from a project to any future ones, giving you back hours. By swapping out paper timecards with digital ones, approving payroll is now a piece of cake. Crew can log into Wrapbook from any device to enter their hours and expenses. Providing producers with the right tools to onboard crew and process payments helps them put routine work on auto-pilot. That way, they can focus on more compelling tasks. Let us tackle paperwork, payroll, and insurance, so you can continue creating the work that matters.
