We are looking for a high-energy, AI-native GTM & Sales Ops Associate to become the analytical and operational backbone of our North America business. This is not a traditional ops role where you move data between spreadsheets. Half of this job is helping the region see clearly, where the market is going, and where the next dollar should go. The other half is building the machine that runs on those answers, the data, the systems, the automations, the incentives. The ideal candidate understands that the future of operations is automated. You don't wait for a tool, you build the workflow. You have a "vibe coding" mentality, using LLMs and low-code tools to close the gap between "we need this" and "it's done."
- North America Market & GTM Analysis: Build the outside-in view of our North America go-to-market (the market, the competition, the buyers) and read it alongside what our own deals are telling us. Turn that into recommendations that give regional leadership a sharper basis for their calls.
- Pipeline & Forecast Analytics: Own pipeline and forecast analytics, and run a forecast cadence leadership can trust. Don't just build dashboards, tell us what the data means, and bring a recommended fix along with the finding.
- AI-Native Systems & Automation: Build on our sales tech stack rather than just administering it. Wire LLMs and low-code tools into the daily workflow so repetitive work stops being manual.
- Compensation & Incentives: Manage and calculate sales commission plans, accurate, on time, and clear enough that the team trusts the number.
- Data Foundation & CRM Integrity: Own the "source of truth." Keep our sales data clean and trustworthy enough that both people and AI agents can rely on it.
- Global Coordination: Bridge time zones. Keep North America leadership and global HQ aligned on strategy, numbers, and priorities. We're a lean team in a fast-moving region, so the exact mix of these will shift over time, we're looking for someone who's comfortable with that.
- Experience: 2–4 years in Sales Ops, RevOps, GTM/Business Strategy, market or competitive research, consulting, or another highly analytical role.
- Analytical Depth: You can get from raw data to a defensible recommendation on your own, and you stay useful when the internal sample is small and the answer has to come from outside research.
- Language: Native or professional fluency in both English and Mandarin is preferred. You will work directly with the North America field team and with global HQ, and you'll be the one making sure both sides actually understand each other.
- The AI-Native Mindset: You are a power user of Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. You don't do manual work if an API or an automation can do it better.
- Vibe Coding Familiarity: You may not be a software engineer, but you know how to prompt, use Claude Code / Cursor, or use natural language to build internal tools and automate the boring parts.
The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $80K to $130K. Four zones are applied with different levels of the pay range. More details of the Geo Differential Pay Policy will be discussed during the HR conversation. The actual individual base pay will depend on various factors such as the complexity and responsibility of the role, work locations, job levels, and relevant experience and skills. This role is also eligible to participate in TiDB's Bonus and Equity Plan, as well as our Sales Compensation Plan if it is a sales role. In order to comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all US job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Please note that actual salaries may vary and fall outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, and competencies. Other benefits include health insurance, flexible vacation time, paid holidays, and parental leave. Salaries for candidates outside the U.S. will vary based on local compensation structures.
We encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply. Come advance with us! In keeping with our values, no employee or applicant will face discrimination/harassment based on: race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, gender, marital domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, or veteran status. TiDB also strives to prevent other, subtler forms of inappropriate behavior (e.g., stereotyping) from ever gaining a foothold in our organization. Whether blatant or hidden, barriers to success have no place at TiDB.

What We Do
Founded in 2015, TiDB was born from the vision of three talented software engineers who set out to build a database system that would be more scalable and reliable than MySQL, while retaining its rich ecosystem of tools and frameworks. They also wanted a true open-source solution, ensuring flexibility and compatibility. What they didn’t know then was how TiDB would grow to become one of the world’s most popular distributed SQL databases. With over 39,000 GitHub stars, TiDB is the leading open-source distributed SQL database, designed to power data-intensive applications with relentless elasticity, versatility, and reliability. Today, TiDB is trusted by world-renowned organizations such as Databricks, Plaid, Pinterest, and Atlassian to handle their most critical workloads, allowing developers to innovate faster and focus on building features rather than managing infrastructure. Powered by PingCAP, TiDB continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in data management. With support from leading firms like Sequoia Capital, GGV Capital, Access Technology Ventures, and Coatue Management, TiDB is on a mission to empower developers worldwide to distribute their data with speed, agility, and scale.
