Torus is headquartered in Utah and is expanding manufacturing at our 545,000-square-foot facility in Salt Lake City called GigaOne. We are the world’s first mesh energy infrastructure, uniting communities through resilient, sustainable, and intelligent power. We design, engineer, manufacture, install, and support our systems end-to-end, standing behind them throughout their lifecycle. Torus systems help reduce costs, lower emissions, and protect facilities from outages, while strengthening the security and reliability of the broader utility grid. Torus is committed to American manufacturing, engineering excellence, and building energy systems that last.
Torus has raised over $267 million from investors like Magnetar, Mercado, ICONIQ and Origin Ventures. The investments are helping to accelerate deployment of modular power plants across utilities, data centers, and industrial sectors. This investor confidence reflects the strength of our team, technology as well as the scale of the problem we are solving.
At Torus, you will be part of something larger than a single product or technology. Your work will help build energy infrastructure that supports and strengthens our electrical grid, critical systems, industry, and communities for decades to come. We value accountability, collaboration, and clear thinking. We are looking for people who want to solve hard problems and build things that matter.
As the GTM Marketing Manager at Torus, you will lead sales enablement content across our product offerings. You will craft product positioning and vertical-specific narratives, build and manage our sales asset library (including case studies, pitch decks, battlecards, and one-pagers), and support product launch plans. Working closely with sales, product, and marketing teams, you will participate directly in customer calls, conduct target audience research, gather field insights, and lead sales training.
Responsibilities- Craft clear, compelling product positioning and messaging across all Torus offerings (hardware, software, services).
- Develop and manage end-to-end product launch plans—from internal alignment to external execution.
- Own the customer-facing asset library end to end—case studies, one-pagers, pitch decks, battlecards, and vertical-specific content—and keep every asset organized, versioned, and factually accurate.
- Identify and develop customer case studies and testimonials across utility, commercial & industrial, and data center verticals.
- Work side by side with sales: join customer and prospect calls, capture what you hear firsthand, and use those learnings to quickly iterate on assets and tactics.
- Conduct customer research to better understand the pain points and motivations of our users and choosers within our target verticals.
- Lead internal training for sales, marketing, customer support, and cross-functional teams on new products, features, and messaging.
- Partner with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure GTM alignment and message consistency.
- Monitor competitive landscape and market shifts to inform positioning and sales strategy.
- 5+ years in product marketing or GTM roles, ideally in B2B tech, energy, or hardware + software environments.
- A systems thinker—highly detail-oriented, assertive, and able to take real ownership of outcomes without waiting to be asked.
- Proven experience building sales enablement content and delivering training.
- Familiarity with product launch frameworks.
- Strong written and visual communication skills—comfortable translating technical features into customer-facing value.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, and design teams.
- Strong research skills and a proven ability to quickly understand the landscape of a new customer segment, vertical, or industry.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.
- Experience in the energy, climate tech, utility, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong copywriting ability—able to draft customer-facing copy directly, not just brief it out.
- Background working on or supporting long, complex sales cycles (utility, C&I, data centers, public sector, etc.).
- Knowledge of the power grid, distributed energy, or energy storage systems.
- Strong eye for design and the ability to work closely with creative teams on visual assets.
- Experience with Hubspot.
