About the RolePosition Background & Focus
- Wati is building an AI-first GTM engine to scale revenue without scaling headcount.
- We are moving from structured growth to intelligent automation at scale.
- We are looking for a GTM Engineer – Revenue Technology (AI & Automation) to design and ship the systems that power this.
Your Mandate
- Work across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps teams.
- Truly understand how GTM actually operates today (not just how it is documented).
- Design and ship automation, integrations, and AI systems that 10x team output.
- Turn fragmented tools, data, and workflows into a clean, scalable revenue engine.
If successful – you will directly shape how Wati scales revenue.
What Success Looks Like
- GTM runs on automated, scalable systems.
- AI handles high-volume operational work.
- Sales teams operate with real-time intelligence.
- Revenue becomes predictable and data-driven.
- Design and build GTM automation systems – automate lead routing, pipeline movement, lifecycle workflows, and sync data across CRM, billing, product, and support tools.
- Deliver GTM internal products end-to-end – own the full cycle from discovery → build → rollout → adoption → iteration, covering sales automation workflows, account intelligence systems, pipeline & forecasting infrastructure, and expansion/churn detection engines.
- Build AI agents (core) – use LLMs and workflows to qualify and enrich leads (AI SDRs), detect buying signals and prioritize accounts, surface deal risks and next-best actions, and automate repetitive GTM decisions.
- Create the GTM intelligence layer – turn raw data (CRM data, product usage, conversations, campaigns, pipeline signals, deal insights, customer behavior) into real-time, actionable intelligence for revenue teams.
- Run experiments that move key metrics – continuously improve conversion rates, speed to lead, pipeline velocity, and sales productivity. You define success and own the outcome.
Requirements
Experience & Capabilities
- You are a builder first (not a process manager).
- You have built real GTM automation or AI systems in a SaaS environment.
- You think in terms of business systems, workflows, APIs, and automation logic.
- You are comfortable with messy data and fast iteration cycles.
- You care about key metrics: pipeline, conversion, velocity.
Tech Stack (familiar with or willing to learn)
- CRM & CX: HubSpot, Intercom
- Billing: Stripe, Chargebee
- Automation: Clay, Zapier, Make, n8n
- Development: JavaScript, Python, Node.js, REST APIs, Webhooks
- Data: SQL, BI tools, dashboards
- AI: LLM APIs, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents
Skills Required
- 3-6 years in Revenue Operations, GTM Engineering, CRM Architecture, or a closely related Systems / Automation role.
- Experience building automation, integrations, or AI-driven systems in a SaaS or GTM environment
- Has personally shipped at least one LLM-powered workflow in production
- Strong understanding of business systems and workflows; APIs, webhooks, and automation logic
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, Automation tools, Data systems
- Comfort working with messy, unstructured data and fast iteration cycles
- Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese
