Our client is a fast-growing company in the electric mobility and EV charging industry, building and operating a network of charging infrastructure across Europe.
The business sits at the intersection of technology, physical infrastructure and partnerships, working with partners to bring EV charging to the places where people already spend their time.
As the company continues to scale internationally, they are now looking for a GTM Director to lead their go-to-market portfolio and create a more connected, scalable approach to growth.
The RoleAs GTM Director, you will operate as a senior GM-type business leader, owning the strategy and performance of the company's go-to-market portfolio across markets and partnership channels.
This is not a traditional Sales Director position. The role requires someone who has already owned several interconnected areas of a business rather than leading only a quota-carrying sales organisation.
You will work across partnerships, growth, revenue operations, analytics and local market execution, connecting these functions into one operating system and identifying repeatable opportunities for revenue growth.
You will combine strategic ownership with hands-on execution, making decisions around investment, resources, priorities and where the company should scale—or stop.
What you'll be doingOwn the strategy and performance of the GTM portfolio across markets and partnership channels.
Lead multiple interconnected workstreams across partnerships, growth, Revenue Operations, analytics and local execution.
Define priorities and allocate resources across different growth opportunities.
Lead a multidisciplinary team and establish a clear operating rhythm connecting strategy with execution.
Own business performance from a P&L and margin perspective.
Use data to determine where to invest, scale, test or stop initiatives.
Identify and test new growth and revenue opportunities before committing significant resources.
Participate in critical partner negotiations and discussions when needed.
Build scalable and repeatable approaches to revenue growth.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Finance and local market teams to turn opportunities into measurable business results.
10+ years of relevant experience.
Current or recent experience in a senior role such as General Manager, Category Director, Head of Revenue Expansion, Head of SMB, Head of Revenue Operations, or an equivalent position with broad cross-functional ownership.
Proven experience owning a business area, market, category or portfolio, rather than only one specialist function.
Experience leading several interconnected areas such as partnerships, growth, operations, analytics and commercial performance.
Experience in a high-growth marketplace, on-demand platform or similarly complex and fast-moving business.
Strong P&L or margin ownership and experience making investment and resource-allocation decisions.
Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
Ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.
Experience with partner-led distribution models, particularly where a partner owns the end-customer relationship.
Strong senior stakeholder management and ability to create alignment around difficult business decisions.
Fluent English.
Based in or able to work from Portugal.
This role is not designed for a traditional Sales Director profile.
Someone whose leadership experience has primarily been managing quota-carrying sales teams, without broader responsibility across areas such as operations, partnerships, growth, analytics or business performance, would not be the right fit.
We're looking for someone who has effectively run a part of a business, not simply a commercial team.
Nice to haveExperience in EV charging, mobility, energy or infrastructure-related businesses.
Marketplace or platform experience.
Experience working with complex partnership ecosystems.
Experience introducing a management layer and scalable operating processes into a rapidly growing team.
We're looking for a hands-on operator with a GM mindset.
You should be comfortable looking at a business from multiple angles at once: growth, partnerships, operations, economics, data and execution.
You'll need enough strategic depth to determine where the business should invest while remaining close enough to execution to understand what is actually working.
This is particularly relevant for someone who has already operated in a high-growth, complex business environment and enjoys bringing structure to organisations without slowing them down.

This is an opportunity to take broad ownership of how a fast-growing European business goes to market.
