Job DescriptionAbout the role
This project-based role focuses on leading demand, inventory, and capacity planning while maintaining visibility with global sites for specific projects. The primary objective is to ensure the on-time, high-efficiency, and low-cost execution of supply chain plans. The role requires proactive cooperation with global planning, frontend, technical, and project teams to execute strategies and effectively manage and mitigate supply chain crises.
Key Responsibilities
- Work Model: On-site / Hybrid / Remote (To be confirmed during the screening process).
- Provide supply chain support to program management with the launch and deployment of new business initiatives.
- Provide excellent visibility of demand, supply, and service by designing, building, and maintaining reports by product line and sourcing location.
- Implement automation to reduce manual inputs and build an agile supply chain solution using data available in different systems.
- Proactively provide supply chain strategy with cost, efficiency, and resource optimization to support business growth (e.g., global capacity utilization management by product line).
- Manage supply risk assessments to ensure reliable order fulfillment.
- Support other cross-functional teams to bridge any operational or communication gaps.
- Interface with various functions (Operations, Commercial, CS, GPD, IT, etc.) across regions to map current business processes and implement strategic initiatives and improvement programs.
- Implement global tools and processes to improve planning and scheduling across manufacturing sites while leveraging and standardizing best practices globally.
- Support the team to manage and resolve supply chain crises globally, demonstrating communication skills and influencing power to drive execution.
3+ years of hands-on experience in supply planning, preferably within the apparel industry.
Previous experience working with a commercial organization or direct customer interface experience is a plus.
Knowledge in forecasting models and practical experience in Qlik Sense, Oracle, or similar planning tools is advantageous.
Good project management skills and communication skills.
Solid experience navigating a complex matrix organization, driving alignment, and executing across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
Good command of English and Chinese.
Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute a strategic plan.
Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets, demonstrating the ability to build robust supply chain models.
Quick learner who is willing to work under pressure and capable of digesting new tasks independently.
