Will be responsible to work on multiple projects simultaneously, creating system requirements, developing application code, coordinating testing and deployments. Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders. Collaborate with other analysts, development teams, and business line leaders to provide optimized solutions with focus on improving efficiency. Collaborate and work with business owners to provide optimal alignment and approach. Guide analytics team members by providing thought leadership and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to leaders to gain understanding of business requirements
- Lead by example in analytics and automation delivery, executing on end-to-end solutions leveraging individual and team capabilities, ensuring global team can optimize delivery of reports and automations.
- Provide leadership and guidance for analysts on team to ensure business deliveries are optimized.
- Drive transformation of existing processes to leverage new tools and technology, and create efficiencies.
- Hands on development for systems and reports, and end to end solution implementation. Leverage data lake and associated development tools (e.g. dataIKU, Athena, Python etc.) to deliver analytics and automations. Provide SME expertise in business lines as assigned.
- Contribute to design of robust Report structuring and analysis, and Transform complex data sets into elegant end-user reporting by using new visualization tools such as Power BI, Quick Sight, Power App, SQL, SSRS etc.
- Explore opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by automating reports/ processes, simplification/ elimination of redundant activities
- Managing the change control and traceability processes for requirements.
- Applies analytical skills to understand the complex data & provide the required information to leadership.
- Documents process, data definitions, data sources.
- Project management: writing requirements/stories, writing test cases, manage report deliveries and perform quality checks to ensure report accuracy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field.
- Strong academic background with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 5-8 years of experience in reporting, Analytics and Project management.
- People management experience of minimum 1 year.
- Working knowledge of different tools like Power BI, Power App, SQL, SSRS, Quick sight
- Experience of Python, VBA other programming.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, RDBMS, MS Access, SQL and ability to connect to a variety of data sources.
- Experience with Agile/JIRA
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to continuously adapt to new technology
- Advanced skills in writing complex queries, developing reports and automation of report distribution.
- Thought leader to strategize and lead the change and the new initiatives for the global teams
- High sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
- Able to prepare and deliver presentations based on data received and analyzed.
- Good to have R Studio knowledge and data lake experience
