About Wellio

Every young person should have the chance to build the skills they need to navigate life. That should not depend on which school they attend or where they live.

That is why Wellio exists. We help schools make wellbeing a consistent part of everyday learning, so teachers can deliver it with confidence, students genuinely engage with it and leaders can see what is working and where to improve.

We are building a new category: the Wellbeing Management System for K-12 schools. Our platform brings together 600+ editable, curriculum-aligned lessons, student surveys and insights, and hands-on implementation support in one place.

Today, more than 1,000 schools, 25,000 teachers and 210,000 students use Wellio around the world. Our long-term ambition is to support 50,000 schools and 25 million students across 50 countries.

About the Role

This is a rare chance to become Wellio’s second full-time marketer at a fast-growing global education company. You will have real ownership from day one: a meaningful budget, direct access to the Head of Marketing, our founders and regional sales leaders, and the freedom to shape how Wellio goes to market around the world.

The role spans three core areas: outbound, events and ABM, with outbound as the primary focus. You will scale an outbound engine that is already working, take over and improve an established global events program across our markets, and own our global ABM strategy.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will choose the audience, sharpen the message, build the campaign, solve the operational details and learn from the result. Across the year, you may coordinate 20 to 30 campaigns, with several running at the same time as major conferences.

You will own a target for qualified sales meetings generated across outbound, events and ABM, and share accountability with Sales for the opportunities and pipeline that follow.

This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, with a hybrid working arrangement.

What You’ll Do

1. Scale our outbound engine

  • Run scaled EDM and outbound campaigns on behalf of our SDR teams across Australia, the UK and international markets. Identify audiences, build and segment lists, write copy, choose offers, QA and launch campaigns, monitor deliverability and hand qualified interest cleanly to Sales.
  • Combine school context, CRM history, intent, previous objections, customer proof and market signals to improve who we contact, when and what we say.
  • Deliver against a target for qualified sales meetings, track reply quality, opportunities and pipeline, and improve each campaign with what you learn.

2. Own and grow our global events program

  • Identify and recommend the right conferences, from Sydney and London to Bangkok, Dubai and Copenhagen. Once we commit, own the program end to end.
  • Manage budgets, bookings, suppliers, equipment, collateral, staffing, deadlines and logistics so Sales can arrive prepared and focused on selling.
  • Set the audience, target accounts, commercial goal and follow-up plan. Brief the team attending, then coordinate pre-event, onsite and post-event activity across the right channels.
  • Track meetings, opportunities, pipeline and market learning, not foot traffic or badge scans alone.

3. Own our global ABM strategy

  • Identify priority accounts and buying groups, tier them and decide where one-to-one, one-to-few or one-to-many plays make sense.
  • Use account intelligence, market signals and customer proof to coordinate EDM, conferences, direct mail, LinkedIn, paid media and content around one account plan.
  • Track engagement, qualified meetings, opportunities and pipeline within target accounts, then keep improving the program.

4. Build the foundations for scale

  • Use research, CRM data and Sales feedback to codify our ICPs, segments, personas, buying groups, value propositions and messages.
  • Build practical workflows for research, segmentation, personalisation, copy, QA and reporting. Spot patterns, connect tools and keep improving how the work gets done.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and reps across regions, turn field insight into action and close the loop on results.

About You

You are a hands-on B2B marketer who can think, build and deliver. Your background may be in growth, demand generation, lifecycle, field marketing or outbound. We care more about what you have personally improved than your exact title or years of experience.

  • You have built or materially improved a B2B outbound or EDM engine. You understand the whole system, from audience and segmentation to copy, deliverability and measurement.
  • You have built or materially improved sales-aligned ABM programs. You can identify buying groups, tier accounts, choose the right level of investment and coordinate campaigns across channels.
  • Your marketing fundamentals are strong. You turn insight into clear ICPs, positioning, value propositions, offers and campaigns, and write copy that makes scaled outreach feel relevant.
  • You are an exceptional operator. You have run complex events and can keep a high volume of campaigns moving across markets and time zones without dropping deadlines, details or follow-up.
  • You are AI-fluent. AI and automation are already part of how you research, analyse, write, personalise and build workflows. You can show how your systems have improved the work.
  • Sales teams trust you. You communicate clearly, follow through and turn field feedback into stronger marketing. You care about qualified meetings, opportunities and pipeline, not activity for its own sake.
  • You move comfortably between strategy and execution. Writing copy, building a campaign, briefing a contractor and making a strategic trade-off all feel like part of the same job.

Why You Should Work Here

  • Real traction with room to build. Wellio already has global reach, but the team is still small enough for your work to change how we grow.
  • Learn from people who have built at scale. Work directly with a Head of Marketing who previously led B2B growth at Canva, alongside founders and sales leaders across the world.
  • A genuinely global role. You will work across Australia, the UK and international markets, with travel for priority events. We also bring the team together each year to shape the strategy and spend time together outside work. The plan is for you to join our global Sales team in Bangkok this December to help build our 2027 plan.
  • Impact at scale. Help make high-quality wellbeing education part of everyday learning for millions more students.

Skills Required

  • Experience building or materially improving a B2B outbound or EDM engine, including audience segmentation, copy, deliverability, and measurement.
  • Experience building or materially improving sales-aligned account-based marketing programs.
  • Strong marketing fundamentals, including ICP development, positioning, value propositions, offers, campaigns, and relevant copywriting.
  • Experience running complex events and managing multiple campaigns across markets and time zones.
  • Fluency with AI and automation for research, analysis, writing, personalization, and workflow development.
  • Ability to build trust with Sales teams, communicate clearly, follow through, and focus on qualified meetings, opportunities, and pipeline.
  • Ability to balance marketing strategy with hands-on execution, including copywriting, campaign building, contractor briefing, and strategic decision-making.
