Job DescriptionAt Wise, we're on a mission to build the best way to move and manage money internationally. We're making financial services more fair, accessible, and affordable for people and businesses worldwide. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager with a focus on Mainland China & Hong Kong markets. This role is pivotal in driving our growth strategy, managing multi-channel campaigns, and fostering partnerships to increase our transaction volume in these key markets.
Your Mission
As a Growth Marketing Manager for Greater China, you will:
- Drive growth initiatives and country level marketing strategies, ensuring market penetration and user acquisition.
- Organize and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, coordinating closely with internal teams and external partners to maximize reach and impact.
- Lead product launches in the region, tailoring strategies to meet local needs and preferences.
- Collaborate closely with paid channels and media agencies to identify new channels to test and scale successful tactics, optimizing for cost-effective customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with local partners, including but not limited to expat groups in China, Chinese diaspora communities in popular destination countries, education and immigration agencies to explore innovative avenues for transaction volume growth.
- Work closely with the Organic Social and Influencer marketing teams to drive a strong online presence on dedicated platforms, and increase our brand presence in the market.
- Work closely with the analytics team to monitor campaign performance, generate insights, and produce comprehensive reports to guide future strategies.
You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:
Experience & Expertise:
A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on the China market or Chinese - speaking audiences
Proficiency in key Chinese channels, with experience launching and managing campaigns on platforms such as WeChat, RedNote, and Douyin
Strong preference for experience within the fintech or related industries
Deep understanding of local nuances, skilled in tailoring strategies for diverse cultural contexts and demonstrating strong localization expertise
Core Competencies:
Data-Driven Approach: Root your strategies in analytics, leveraging data effectively to inform decisions and drive measurable growth
Creativity & Innovation: Bring a creative approach to your work, consistently seeking ways to engage audiences and achieve business objectives
Teamwork & Leadership: A proactive team player with excellent project planning skills, capable of efficiently leading and managing cross-functional initiatives
Communication: Effective communicator, able to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate efficiently with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Language Skills:
Strong proficiency in Mandarin
Cantonese proficiency is a plus
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Paid Marketing strategies/ campaigns/ channels experience
Working experience in fintech/ financial services/ tech/ app-based product companies

Salary Range:
SGD 6,400 - 8,900 + RSUs
- You should also be located and legally authorised to work in Singapore and do not require visa sponsorship.
- Please clearly state your experiences within Greater China markets + which Chinese platforms you have experience with in your resume/CV. Candidates without relevant experiences in Greater Chinese markets will not be considered for this role.
