About the Role
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who understands both marketing and e-commerce growth.
You will own key growth initiatives for Yami Canada, connecting customer acquisition, social and creator marketing, partnerships, campaigns and commercial opportunities to drive measurable traffic and new customer growth.
Working closely with the Canada GM and cross-functional teams, you will turn new products, trending categories, competitive offers and cultural moments into compelling reasons for customers to discover, visit and shop Yami.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and growth strategies across social, creators/influencers, partnerships, referral, offline activations, and other growth channels.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns around new product launches, cultural moments, seasonal events, and major shopping occasions.
  • Own Yami Canada’s social and creator marketing strategy, including content direction, creator ecosystem development, and campaign performance.
  • Own onsite merchandising for key campaigns and growth initiatives, including homepage exposure, landing pages, new arrivals, hero products, and key promotional placements.
  • Drive CRM and retention initiatives across customer lifecycle, segmentation, email/SMS, referral, reactivation, and repeat purchase, partnering with shared teams on execution.
  • Identify local consumer trends, partnerships, and new growth opportunities that can drive awareness, traffic, and customer acquisition.
  • Translate newness, trending products, competitive offers, and category strengths into compelling customer-facing marketing stories.
  • Own the Canada integrated marketing calendar, connecting campaigns, products, promotions, onsite merchandising, social, creators, and CRM from planning through launch.
  • Partner closely with Category, Purchase, Design, CRM, Data, Tech, and other teams to drive strong cross-functional execution.
  • Track and optimize performance across traffic, CAC, new customers, conversion and campaign ROI, turning insights into actionable growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in e-commerce, growth marketing, digital marketing or integrated marketing, ideally in a fast-paced consumer business.
  • Strong hands-on experience across customer acquisition, social/creator marketing, campaign management, CRM, or partnerships.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce merchandising and the customer journey, from traffic acquisition through conversion and repeat purchase.
  • Strong commercial and data-driven mindset, with the ability to connect product, promotion, content, channels, and customer behavior to business growth.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to move quickly from idea to execution.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable building in an evolving environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian market, Chinese speaking audiences, and Asian consumer trends is a plus.
  • Fluent English required; Mandarin Chinese is a must.

Compensation Transparency: Final salary offers are determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s specialized experience, skill set, and existing professional network in the local market.
