The Role
At Neighbor, we’re building the world’s largest hyperlocal storage marketplace. We’ve raised over $75 million from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and the creators of DoorDash, Airbnb, and Uber. Our marketplace is already flourishing in all 50 states, and we’re just getting started.
As our Growth Marketing Intern, you’ll help drive Neighbor’s local growth strategy through experimentation and analysis. You’ll focus on Google Maps discovery, testing new local growth bets outside of Google Maps, and supporting commercial pilots in key markets. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving ambiguous problems, designing experiments, and translating data into actionable strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Google Maps Discovery: Use agile experimentation and data analysis techniques to identify the physical space attributes that predict strong performance on Google Maps, determine which pin attributes drive rank, and figure out how to increase conversion rates via phone and web
- Non-Maps Local Growth Bets: Test and scale local growth bets outside of Google Maps that could drive significant growth for Neighbor (e.g., host signage, Apple Maps, Facebook Marketplace, etc.)
- Commercial Pilot Collaboration: Work with Neighbor’s Sales team to drive traffic to key commercial locations to help us win pilots
Qualifications
- Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program graduating between 2027 and 2029
- Must be available to work full time throughout the summer in Lehi, UT
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
What Will Set You Apart
- Background in Strategy, Marketing, or Statistics/Analytics
- Interest in start-ups or Venture Capital (VC)
- Demonstrated grit and personal drive
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and take ownership over unstructured work
- Ability to design experiments and analyze/synthesize data
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
