The Role

As the Growth Marketing Director you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy to build our brand and drive usage of Wizard. This is a pivotal role in our growth and you will play a critical party in setting the foundation. You’ll work closely with our CEO and cross functional teams to develop impactful initiatives that resonate with our users. You will be a hands-on leader in a small fast moving startup and balance broad strategic thinking with the ability to dive deep and execute quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead consumer marketing strategy: Develop and execute the overall consumer marketing strategy focused on building the brand, driving user acquisition and increasing consumer engagement
  • Understand our users: Deeply understanding Wizard’s target audience, identifying and segmenting consumers based on their needs, behaviors nad shopping habits. Create tailored marketing strategies and campaigns based on this.
  • Create and manage campaigns:  Create tailored marketing strategies and campaigns based on your understanding of our users. Collaborate with brand, design and product teams to develop creative content and messaging for activations.
  • Drive consumer engagement: Develop and oversee engagement programs like the Wizard Insiders Program, ambassador programs or other community led initiatives to drive word of mouth and long term loyalty.
  • Agency and resource management: Be the point person to determine when to scale efforts through agencies or contractors. Lead the coordination of external resources to complement internal initiatives. 
  • Measure and optimize: Own the tracking and reporting of marketing KPIs and ensure all campaigns are measured, analyzed and optimized for impact. 

You

  • Seasoned marketing professional with 7-10 years experience in marketing consumer products in the e-commerce space. AI agent experience is a huge plus. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive from strategy to developing creative to execution on fast-moving projects 
  • Strong execution skills and an eye for detail
  • Ability to thrive in a small, agile team with a strong sense of initiative and ownership

The expected salary for this role is $182,000 - $208,000 depending on skills and experiences.
