The Role
Grow Qure’s user base from scratch by testing acquisition channels, managing budgets, creating marketing assets, building measurable funnels, and partnering with product on activation-focused improvements. The role requires rapid experimentation across paid, organic, community, video, and content channels, using data to optimize acquisition economics and eliminate underperforming efforts.
Summary Generated by Built In

Do you care about building a user base from scratch, testing unproven acquisition channels, and implementing wild ideas beyond paid search? Are you enthusiastic about shipping now, preferring to go live with rough ideas today over polishing presentations for next month? If so, this is the role for you.

In this role, you’ll join the team building Qure, an AI copilot for web testing automation. This desktop app turns manual testing flows into production-ready automated scripts, saving hours of manual coding. We’re a seven-person team funded directly by JetBrains.

About JetBrains Innovation Hub

JetBrains builds software development tools used by more than 15 million people, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100. Innovation Hub is its internal startup incubator, where small autonomous teams build new products, funded and employed by JetBrains. Qure runs inside the Innovation Hub with its own roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and customers.

For you, that means a founding role without the runway risk. You build acquisition from zero, with the funding, benefits, and stability of an established company behind you.

What you’ll do

Qure is a fresh product, so the acquisition channel map is practically blank. Paid search, video, newsletters, marketplaces, paid communities, and content are all unproven for Qure. We need someone to determine how best to find its audience. With a high degree of freedom, a lean team, and no marketing bureaucracy, decisions you make on Monday go live by Wednesday.

Day to day, you will:
  • Run parallel channel experiments across paid search, video, communities, and organic traffic to discover what actually converts.
  • Shut down underperforming channels early using your own data to ground the decision.
  • Produce your own marketing assets, including ad copy, screen recordings, and landing pages.
  • Work directly with the product team to ship acquisition-focused product requirements, such as custom onboarding flows or free tools.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end funnel tracking, from a user’s initial click to aha moment to LTV.
What you’ll bring
  • Comfort operating without a playbook and deciding what to test when acquisition channels are entirely unproven.
  • Honesty about performance, with the discipline to cut underperforming channels based on data before anyone asks you to.
  • A bias for action that favors shipping functional campaigns quickly over prolonged polishing.
What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated success growing self-serve products with direct responsibility for user activation.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets across channels and reallocating spending based on user acquisition economics.
  • The capability to create your own creative assets – including copy, landing pages, and product demos – without relying on external agencies or designers.
  • Daily experience using LLMs in your own work for research, creative drafting, and data analysis, with the judgment to know when they help or hinder work.
  • Experience working inside a startup or a small, fast-moving product team.
  • Experience doing marketing for developer tools, QA products, or AI tools is a plus.
What success looks like

In your first three months, success means establishing a fully measurable acquisition funnel from a user’s first click to the aha moment. You will have run parallel channel experiments, determined the true cost per active user or B2B lead, shut down non-viable channels, and identified one or two channels worthy of significant investment.
