LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.

Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.

What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.

With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

About the role

LemFi is building the financial home for the African diaspora — and Canada is one of our most important frontiers. The Nigerian, Ghanaian, East African, and Francophone African communities across Canada are large, fast-growing, and deeply underserved by the banks they've been handed. This role exists to change that.

As Growth Manager – Canada (African Corridors), you will own user acquisition and community presence across the country. You'll be on the ground at events in Toronto one week and Vancouver the next, negotiating partnerships with community organisations, feeding product teams real user insight, and relentlessly closing the gap between LemFi and the people we're built to serve. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role for someone who thrives without a playbook.

What you'll build & own
  • Drive user acquisition across the Nigerian, Ghanaian, East African, and Francophone African corridors in Canada — owning your targets end to end, online and offline.

  • Travel across Canada (3–5 days in a new city every few weeks) to represent LemFi at community events, expos, and forums — you are the face of the brand on the ground.

  • Build and manage a network of community leaders, grassroots organisations, and local partners; negotiate and activate sponsorships and co-marketing deals that move the needle.

  • Run data-informed campaign optimisation — use insights, acquisition KPIs, and AI-powered analysis to sharpen what's working and kill what isn't.

  • Feed the Product and Marketing teams a continuous stream of on-the-ground intelligence: what users need, what messaging lands, what competitors are doing, what's next.

  • Organise and lead local events, meetups, and educational sessions that build genuine trust in LemFi's mission — not just brand noise.

  • Serve as the internal voice of the Canadian diaspora user, advocating for community-specific needs in roadmap and positioning discussions.

Your experience
  • 5+ years in growth, sales, or marketing roles in fast-paced environments — you have a track record of hitting ambitious acquisition or revenue targets.

  • Deep, lived understanding of African diaspora communities in Canada — specifically Nigerian, Ghanaian, East African, and/or Francophone African corridors.

  • Proven ability to build partnerships and community relationships from scratch and turn them into measurable growth outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills — you're comfortable in dashboards, can interrogate campaign data, and adjust strategy based on what the numbers say.

  • Self-directed operator: you've worked remotely or in the field without close oversight and consistently delivered.

  • Excellent communicator — you can command a room at a community event and write a tight partnership proposal the same day.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel across Canada, including occasional weekends.

Nice to have
  • Experience in fintech, remittances, or financial services — especially products serving immigrant or diaspora communities.

  • French language proficiency to support Francophone African corridor engagement.

  • Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate content creation, market research, and performance analysis.
