Solidgate has strong product-market fit, profitable operations, and a real track record with some of Europe's largest technology businesses. What we haven't yet built is the ecosystem presence, community, and brand gravity in Western Europe that our product deserves. We're expanding into Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, and the UK — and this role exists to make sure that every founder and CEO running a digital business there already knows who we are and wants to work with us. There is no playbook. There is no team to inherit. There is only a great product and the mandate to build from zero.

What You Will Own

— Build and own a community of founders, CEOs, and product leaders at digital companies across Western Europe — the people who actually sign payment infrastructure contracts

— Design and run events that people genuinely want to attend — not panels, not webinars, but the side event everyone is talking about and the dinner where the right 20 people are in the room

— Work the conference circuit strategically — Money20/20, Slush, Web Summit, regional fintech events — and be visible where decisions get made

— Develop PR relationships and earn media coverage that positions Solidgate as the builder's choice in European payments — a consistent market signal, not a press release machine

— Partner with the Western Europe sales team to turn brand and community into measurable top-of-funnel pipeline

— Create activations, content, and market presence that make the Solidgate name mean something in rooms full of people who have never heard of us

— You have built or grown a B2B or fintech brand in Western Europe and know how to create real value for people before asking for anything in return

— You have an actual network in the relevant markets — not a LinkedIn contact list, but relationships with people who take your calls

— You think commercially at all times — every event, every article, every activation has a clear answer to: why does this bring us closer to a client?

— You are genuinely comfortable operating without structure — you define it as you go, which means zero dependency on being told what to do next

— You know the difference between brand-building and brand-performing, between noise and signal, and you build for real metrics

Team Setup

You will report to the leadership team with close collaboration with the Western Europe sales team. This is a pioneering role — you are the first person in this function in the region. As the function grows, so does your remit.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience building or growing a B2B or fintech brand in Western Europe
  • Established, active network of founders, CEOs, and product leaders in relevant Western European markets
  • Experience designing and running high-quality founder-focused events and conference activations
  • Commercial mindset with ability to convert brand and community activities into measurable top-of-funnel pipeline
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, early-stage functions and defining structure as you go
  • Experience developing PR relationships and earning media coverage in European markets
  • Experience working at the intersection of startups and venture capital
  • Experience in strategic partnerships or founder-facing roles at high-growth technology companies
  • Existing relationships inside European technology ecosystems (Endeavor, VC networks, fintech communities)
