Hello. We’re Teya.
Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better.
They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Yet for too long, financial services has made life harder for them - with clunky tools, poor support and complexity that gets in the way of running a business.
Teya exists to change that.
We’re building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe - one built around simple tools, thoughtful design and real human support. Our Members rely on us to help them run their business with confidence, and that responsibility shapes the way we work.
We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.
If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from you
About the role
We’re looking for a Growth Lead to own the paid acquisition engine that feeds our inside-sales funnel across our European markets. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll still be in the platforms and in the data, but you’ll also shape how the growth team is structured, set the acquisition strategy together with our local sales leaders, and own the results end to end with senior stakeholders.
AI is central to how we work. We expect you to use AI to build reporting, design measurement approaches, and speed up analysis and creative/experimentation workflows — and to set the standard for how the rest of the team does the same, not as a novelty, but as a core part of how the function operates and scales.
You’ll sit close to both the platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok) and the data (SQL, dashboards, funnel reporting), and you’ll be measured on how efficiently spend turns into qualified pipeline and onboarded merchants. We expect you to connect the full chain — from impression to activated merchant — and to push the system toward the leads that actually convert to volume and value.
What you’ll do
• Own the paid acquisition strategy across Meta, Google and TikTok: channel mix, campaign architecture, bidding, audiences and budget allocation across markets — with lead generation as the primary objective. You stay hands-on in the accounts that matter most.
• Help structure and grow the team. Shape how the growth team is organised: define ownership and ways of working across channels, markets and analytics; contribute to hiring and onboarding; and mentor analysts and specialists, raising the technical bar on measurement, experimentation and documentation.
• Align strategy with local sales teams. Partner with country sales leaders across our markets to agree lead volume and quality targets, funnel definitions, routing and follow-up SLAs, and market-level plans — then run the feedback loop that keeps acquisition and sales tightly connected.
• Manage stakeholders, expectations and results. Set targets and forecasts, run the planning and budget cycles, and report performance to leadership with a clear narrative: what we spent, what it produced, what we learned and what changes next. Make the trade-offs between volume, quality and efficiency explicit and negotiate them openly.
• Own the analytics and measurement layer, and connect spend to outcomes. Write SQL from scratch to join campaign, CRM and onboarding data; use AI to build reporting and design measurement approaches; and own the unit economics of acquisition (CPL, payback, LTV/CAC, ROAS) across the full funnel, using them to drive budget allocation decisions.
• Improve signal and integrations between data and ads platforms. Strengthen the flow of conversion signals into Meta, Google and TikTok (e.g. value-based bidding, lead scoring, CAPI / Enhanced Conversions) and keep data and platform integrations clean and reliable.
• Optimise the conversion path. Improve landing pages, forms and lead-capture flows, and ensure clean lead/CRM handoff (UTM/ad-name capture, field mapping, deduplication).
• Own the experimentation roadmap. Design and read A/B and incrementality tests (creative, LP, bidding, lead-scoring) with proper methodology and statistical significance — and turn the results into decisions the team acts on.
• Manage partners and vendors. Own relationships with agencies, platform reps and martech vendors, including scope, budget and renewal decisions, and hold them to measurable outcomes.
What we’re looking for
Must have
• 6+ years of experience in paid acquisition and lead generation, including time in a lead, principal or team-lead capacity.
• A track record of owning meaningful paid budgets and being accountable for pipeline and revenue outcomes, not just media metrics.
• Hands-on experience running paid acquisition campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok etc) with lead generation as the objective — and the willingness to stay hands-on.
• Proven ability to work with sales leadership — aligning on targets, funnel definitions and feedback loops, and resolving the volume-versus-quality tension constructively.
• Strong stakeholder management: setting expectations, forecasting, and communicating results and trade-offs to senior audiences.
• Strong SQL — comfortable writing queries from scratch and building your own analysis.
• Solid grasp of acquisition unit economics (CPL, payback, LTV/CAC, ROAS) and how to use them for decisions.
• A strong inclination toward AI — actively using AI tools to build reporting, accelerate analysis, and improve how the team works.
• Comfort designing and interpreting A/B tests with statistical rigour.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
Nice to have
• Experience in fintech, payments, or another high-velocity inside-sales / SMB-acquisition environment.
• Experience operating across multiple European markets, including non-English-speaking ones.
• Familiarity with lead scoring, value-based bidding (tROAS) and conversion APIs (CAPI / Enhanced Conversions).
• Experience with CRM/marketing-data integrations (e.g. HubSpot, UTM/ad-name capture, field mapping).
• Incrementality testing, geo-experiments or marketing mix modelling.
• Dashboarding (Looker, HTML/Chart.js, or similar) and a habit of building reusable internal tooling.
