Your Impact

The Group User Researcher(Quant) at DISCO unlocks user insights through quantitative data that enable teams to make successful decisions quickly and confidently. They are responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to identify and prioritize research needs, leading research efforts across a set of interconnected initiatives, and generating compelling insights and actionable recommendations to drive strategy and direction for organization-wide impact. They use systematic, investigative, and unbiased approaches to fully understand all aspects of our users.

What You'll Do

  • Research Execution: Drive planning, data collection, and synthesis for multiple initiatives across the organization. Leverage rigor, scrappiness, and creativity to meet research and business goals 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with multiple functions at DISCO to ensure alignment on what we research, why we research, and how to act on the findings. 
  • Research Operations: Contribute to the research culture and structure of the team; Identify ways to streamline processes
  • Insight Socialization: Develop frameworks and artifacts to build empathy and inspire the teams. Lead activities to increase awareness of learnings and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Research Craft: Educate the organization, including best practices, methodology, and the when and why of research.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years experience in quantitative research, either through industry or academia or some combination
  • Proven track record of leading successful quantitative user research to drive better outcomes
  • Education (formal or otherwise) in research, human-computer interaction, human factors/ergonomics, psychology, or related field

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York City only, the minimum and maximum salary offered for this role is $160k-180k. Information on other compensation and benefits is available upon request.
