Job Description

Your daily pitch:

In this key role, you'll be the playmaker of our financial operations, handling vital tasks with banks, PSPs, and financial institutions. Your mission? Lead the Group’s Cash Flow Management like a seasoned midfielder and lead the setup of complex, high-stakes banking and PSP processes, ensuring we stay ahead of the game.

Your playing field: 

• You'll be the key contact, effectively managing relationships with banks and financial institutions. Like a football manager with scouts, you'll oversee both existing and prospective partnerships to ensure a strong, diverse financial
• You’ll drive daily cash flow management, ensuring smooth inflows and outflows to keep operations running, including legal and banking documentation.
• Monitor financial covenants, plan payments, handle guarantees, and manage interest rate risks like a strategic play, keeping everything in check.
• You'll prepare and maintain cash flow reports and forecasts, ensuring compliance with banking and management requirements—keeping the team and stakeholders informed and ahead of the game.
• Establish the Group's treasury policy, creating a standard cash management practice that runs like a well-drilled football formation.
• Analyze and review treasury files, including bank and third-party statements, ensuring accurate reporting and maintaining control, just like reviewing the matchday stats to make key decisions.
• Like a captain on the field, you’ll lead a talented team, guiding them to execute strategies that keep our financial operations in top form.

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

• Expertise. Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance. ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is necessary.
• Experience. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in treasury operations with a solid accounting and financial management technical skills and background. Excellent knowledge of cash flow analysis, facility and credit risk management is also crucial. 
• Leadership. Minimum 3 years experience in leading teams. 
• Operations. Knowledge of Payment Service Provider operations is important for this role. 
• Industry. Experience in an online, gaming or fast-moving industry would be beneficial. 
• Communication. Communication is key for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills are also very important. 
• Analytical. Strong problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills are important for this role. 
• Language. Our main language is English at Tipico, and therefore professional proficiency in both oral and written is essential for this role. Maltese would be desirable.
• Software. Use of software tools is important and therefore strong knowledge in MS applications, especially Excel is important. Knowledge of banking software or systems and payment operations is also important.
