Supports and coordinates business and affinity group travel programs for corporations, organizations, associations, and community groups. Assists with account management, client relationships, vendor coordination, sales support, and operational activities to deliver seamless travel experiences.
Job Duties
- Develops new business opportunities by promoting AAA Group Travel services to businesses, organizations, and community groups through outreach, networking, and relationship-building initiatives
- Follows up on sales leads from agents, Branch offices, and marketing programs.
- Maintains relationships with new and existing accounts to understand needs, provide support, and ensure customer expectations are met.
- Coordinates affinity group travel arrangements between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Utilizes multiple internal and vendor systems to manage travel information, reservations, and account details.
- Collaborates regularly with travel staff to provide account updates and ensure alignment on customer needs.
- Provides primary support and coverage for Group and Business Travel Coordinators during absences.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Travel Sales and Business Support Manager.
Qualifications
- High School GED Required
- 1-3 years Travel sales or related experience. (Required)
- Knowledge of Sabre, Concur, Cornerstone booking systems and SalesForce. (Not required but preferred)
- Experience developing business through external sources beneficial.
- Must have proven ability to communicate effectively and to coordinate people and activities.
- Must have good business writing skills and decision-making ability.
- Must have reliable transportation to make sales calls.
- Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance - Issued by State
