TMAG is a secure post-adjudication facility located in North Texas that provides comprehensive services to young women (10-17), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features group, individual, and family therapy, on-site schooling, individual dorm rooms, and extracurricular opportunities for the young women. Pay: $50,000 annually

What you will do: A Group Supervisor is considered a lead mentor to the Direct Juvenile Support Workers, providing direction and supervision to both staff and students. The Group Supervisor will directly supervise Coach Counselors and Night Coach Counselors while being within the mix with them on the units, in Education, and anywhere else where there is ROP activity. This position does exercise authority in ensuring staff and students adhere to the facility and daily schedules, including being on time and participation in all program elements required. As a Group Supervisor, you will work the same schedule as the Coach Counselors and effectively maintain the proper staff to student ratio for coverage. This position requires you to be a role model for staff and students, leading by example and modeling ROP programming.
To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Must have at least 1 year of experience working at-risk youth ~ Supervisory experience is preferred ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License
Schedule: Looking to fill Day shifts with a schedule of 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off for a total of 42 hours per week (A-shift – Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 7am to 9pm with a 2-hour break, Wednesday 7am to 2pm; B-shift -Wednesday 2pm to 9pm, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7am to 9pm with a 2-hour break)
