Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles North of Knoxville, in a small, quaint, beautiful town, called Andersonville, sits Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnosis.
Compensation Ranges: $50,000 annually

What you will do: A day in the life of a Group Supervisor at Norris Academy is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. As a Group Supervisor at Norris Academy, you are helping to care for and support autistic youth and the coach counselors that work directly with the youth. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide and ensure consistent interactive supervision of the residents
- Provide operational guidance
- Coordinate activities for the residents and group living staff
- Ensure resident and staff safety at all times
- Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines
To be considered you should:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent, BA preferred
- Be able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
- Have at least 1 year experience working with autistic youth
- Have a passion to work with and help children
Schedule/hours/shifts: Our 4 days on, 3 days off (opposite the 2nd week) schedule, allows our employees more time to rest, take care of personal affairs, and reduces burnout. Schedule choices are as follows; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (Every other Wednesday) 7am-7:30pm
