Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to drive group-level sustainability governance, risk integration, reporting, ratings, and sustainable finance execution across DP World. It plays a key role in enabling executive decision-making and accountability, serving internal partners across GHSE, People, Risk, Finance, Legal, Investor Relations, and regional sustainability teams. The role also strengthens DP World’s positioning with investors, regulators, and rating agencies through consistent strategy execution and performance management.
Key Accountabilities
Drive group-level sustainability strategy rollout and governance implementation across regions and functions
Support integration of sustainability and ESG considerations into the ERR framework and enterprise governance processes
Lead key sustainability programmes, defining baseline practices and enabling consistent implementation
Support sustainable finance initiatives, including green and blue capital definitions, governance, and impact reporting
Lead ESG ratings strategy and sustainability reporting to meet investor and regulatory expectations
Engage Legal and Business teams to embed sustainability-related clauses into contracts and commercial frameworks
Conduct cross-functional stakeholder engagement to deliver group-wide sustainability initiatives requiring regional and functional buy-in
Acts as a strategic advisor internally, guiding teams on sustainability priorities, governance requirements, and execution pathways
Provides functional leadership to regional sustainability leaders and cross-functional contributors
Drives collaboration, alignment, and accountability across multiple senior stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
MBA in Strategy, Sustainability, Finance, or a related discipline
CFA, FSA, or equivalent sustainability-related professional credentials
Additional certifications in ESG, sustainable finance, or risk management preferred
10–12 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, finance, risk, or strategy-related roles
Demonstrated experience delivering ESG ratings submissions, annual sustainability reports, and governance-led initiatives
Proven track record of senior stakeholder engagement, including interaction with executive leadership, governance forums, and investor-facing processes
Experience driving long-term strategic projects that require cross-functional and cross-regional alignment
Skills
ESG ratings management and investor-grade sustainability reporting
Sustainable finance frameworks and impact reporting
