Reporting to the Global Risk Director, you will support all areas of the business to identify, prioritize, and actively manage risks in alignment with the Dyson Risk framework. You will also provide close support to the Global Risk Director in the implementation of initiatives to embed risk management, understanding of key Group Risks, and delivery of reporting to the Executive and Board.
This role will provide for the right candidate a unique insight into how the Group operates internationally and involves some levels of exposure to senior management.
The role requires previous risk management experience, preferably within a large international consumer product business.
About the role
- Support the implementation of the Dyson Risk Management Framework across the business in liaison with functions’ appointed Risk Champions.
- Drive the identification, assessment and analysis of Dyson's Key Risks through discussions with management, functional, country and regional stakeholders, conducting research, deep-dives and data analysis, and benchmarking against market best practices
- Be the risk Subject Matter Expert (SME) on specific areas of risk management such as Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, Incident Management, etc.
- Develop and work with stakeholders to implement risk management initiatives, including the development of policies, frameworks, playbooks, etc.
- Be the Product Manager responsible for the implementation, development and operation of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) software
- Prepare reports on risks and risk management initiatives to the Senior Management Team and Board.
- Actively develop the risk culture and competencies through communication, trainings and assessments
- Collaborate with Internal Audit and other 2nd line of defence functions to build measures to mitigate risks.
- Contribute to other initiatives aimed at developing and improving the Group Risk function.

About you
- 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a global manufacturing and consumer product environment
- Demonstrable experience of partnering with business functions in a large matrix organisation
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s qualification.
- Professional qualification in Risk Management (e.g. IRM) or other relevant areas of Internal Controls / Governance / Accounting would be beneficial
