At ETEL, we’re committed to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions for our customers — and quality excellence is critical to how we operate across our global business.
In this role, you’ll lead and shape the Group’s quality strategy, ensuring consistent standards, strong performance, and a culture of continuous improvement across all manufacturing and distribution sites.
We’re looking for a senior leader who can connect quality, operations, and strategy — driving real impact through strong systems, data-led insights, and high-performing teams.
About the role
As Group Quality Manager, you’ll be accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving quality across the ETEL Group.
Reporting to the General Manager – Operational Excellence, you’ll lead the development of group-wide quality systems, embed continuous improvement practices, and ensure alignment across regions — enabling consistent product quality and reliable operational performance.
This is a high-impact leadership role with global oversight, working closely with senior leaders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and beyond.
What you’ll be doing
• Defining and leading the group quality strategy across manufacturing and distribution sites
• Establishing standardised quality systems, frameworks, and governance across regions
• Ensuring alignment with ISO standards and regulatory requirements, including audit programmes
• Driving performance against quality KPIs (e.g. cost of poor quality, warranty, defect rates)
• Embedding structured problem-solving and continuous improvement practices (RCA, 8D, CAPA)
• Leading group-wide continuous improvement initiatives and capability uplift
• Strengthening supplier quality and working cross-functionally to manage risk
• Building and leading a high-performing, multi-site quality and CI function
What you’ll bring
• Significant quality leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Proven experience operating across multiple sites or regions
• Strong understanding of quality systems, ISO standards, and manufacturing processes
• Experience driving quality performance, continuous improvement, and cultural change
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influence, and communication skills
Desirable:
• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), CQE, or Quality Auditor
• Experience with quality tools (e.g. FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 8D, RCA) and digital quality systems
What sets you apart
• You think strategically and align quality with business outcomes
• You connect quality to operational performance and delivery excellence
• You influence effectively across sites, functions, and leadership teams
• You use data and insight to drive meaningful improvement
• You lead change and embed sustainable ways of working
• You take ownership and deliver results with clarity and accountability
