ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital product strategy for their assigned product group or portfolio, aligning it with the departments and company’s overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts, ensuring they are aligned with the group product strategy and are effective in their roles.
  • Coordinate and manage product development processes which foster collaboration, growth, and innovation for assigned product group/portfolio and team members.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, both internal and external, and champion value-centric product development.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform product direction and decisions.
  • Develops and maintains productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
  • Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendations for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
  • Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Skill Evaluation: Behavioral (80%)
  • Possess a deep understanding of product management principles, including defining product strategy, road mapping, prioritization, and launching digital products and experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience of working in ecommerce ecosystems, including but not limited to business models, industry trends, customer behavior, and common ecommerce platforms, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies for efficient product development and project management.
  • Solid leadership skills to guide and motivate a cross-functional team of product managers, product owners, and business analysts.
  • Provide leadership, give instruction, and offer advice to the team with regards to deliverables, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in teams with a collaborate interpersonal style.
  • Ability to set and track personal and overall team goals.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skills.
  • Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills; including the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience that is relevant to the team you will supervise. Including:
  • Internal candidates: Minimum 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or a total of 2 years as a highly performing Mouser employee.
  • External candidates: Minimum 2 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position.
  • Minimum 3 years of Product Management experience working in ecommerce, B2B or related environment.

Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years of Product Management experience in ecommerce, B2B, or related environment.
  • Experience supervising teams (external: minimum 2 years in management; internal: minimum 1 year as lead/coordinator or 2 years as Mouser employee).
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field or minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
  • Deep understanding of product management principles: product strategy, roadmapping, prioritization, and launching digital products.
  • Experience with ecommerce ecosystems, business models, customer behavior, and ecommerce platforms/technologies.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
