eBay is looking for an experienced Group Product Manager to lead our Identity teams across detailed and safe Identity Enabled Growth focusing on Account Access for over 150 million users. In this role you will lead the Sign-In team’s vision, roadmap and partner management across buyers, sellers, risk, information security and our call center team mates. You’ll build on industry leading Passkey adoption, run SCA and MFA and build on the data driven and experimentation advised roadmap. This role also leads key Identity areas across identity trust and leading billions of addresses across the platform. 

This is a high profile role, with cross functional engagement across multiple and business critical strategic key initiatives. 

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead: Define customer centric product vision and measurable impact to align roadmaps across multiple product areas in partnership with cross functional partners. Support the product team by aligning product prioritization and use cases finding the right balance of near-term high impact work and longer-term investment in strategic goals 

  • Partner: Align with collaborators in Design, Engineering, Analytics, Account Security, Information Security and other product teams to meet not just the team’s goals, but unlock partner team goals across platform trust, growth and safety. 

  • Enable: Close partnership with Engineering and Design on customer experience and scalability to guide the team’s work, with an eye on customer centric, personalized experiences and innovative and scalable solutions 

What you will bring: 

  • 10-12 years of experience in product management with 3 years of product team leadership

  • Expertise in Identity across Authentication, the evolution of standards such as Passkeys, the intersection of Identity at the cusp of evolving regulations and the evolution of AI at a global financial services or eCommerce platform  

  • Passion, and a consistent track record of leading cross functional teams to deliver intuitive and delight users 

  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills to dimension opportunity areas and test with velocity and at scale. 

  • Ability to synthesize data into insights and insights into actionable hypotheses, and mentor teams in the same  

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$174,000 - $271,150

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
