Job Description
We are looking for a Group Product Manager - Global Payments (Fintech) to join our Global Payments Product team and deliver best-in-class payment experiences for customers across the world.
As a Group Product Manager on our team, you will be responsible for the creation and impact of compelling payment products that we build for Delivery Hero platforms. We’re on a mission to build the leading Payments platform for DH businesses, including: (1) a wide variety of local and global payment methods relevant to end customers; (2) reliable, stable payment processing via a network of internal and external providers; (3) adaptable payment routing; and (4) intuitive tools and reporting.

Your Mission
- Build a compelling global Payments Orchestration product strategy. Working closely with Payments Tribe Leadership (comprised of senior Product, Technology, Business, Data, and Compliance leaders), you will define the end state and necessary path to evolving our Orchestration products into a packaged solution that meets the needs of DH platforms worldwide.
- Inspire and grow a talented team of product managers. You will directly manage 2 product managers responsible for platform-facing products that will redefine our service offering within the next 1-3 years. This area of ownership includes our developing Orchestration product suite, as well as the creation of a global Payment Integrations platform. While the team may eventually grow, we expect this to be the scope of this role for the foreseeable future.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with Engineering, Business, Data, Compliance, and DH Platform stakeholders to bring your product vision to life across over 65 countries across the globe.
- Drive innovation. You will stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the payments industry and identify opportunities to innovate and deliver on behalf of our customers. You will challenge convention, take calculated risks, and accelerate the advancement of Payment products across the tribe as a result of your focused drive.
- Execute and deliver a worldwide remit. Your scope will require you to engage strategically and tactfully to move your product(s) forward. Along the way, your keen eye for industry best practices, technical detail, and process improvement will develop a high-performing team with a track record of launching successful, scalable products.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in product management or a closely-related field, and 2+ years in a managerial role. You have a proven track record of building and launching successful products, as well as developing compelling talent.
- Deep experience in the payments industry. You have a thorough understanding of the payments landscape, its relevant technologies, and the challenges that businesses and end users face in this critical step of the conversion funnel.
- Strong leadership skills. You are able to inspire and motivate your team to achieve great things, and are able to navigate a complex group of stakeholders to a common, results-focused goal.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You are able to clearly articulate your ideas and build consensus among stakeholders. You motivate and inspire those around you, while communicating tactfully in difficult situations.
- Data-driven decision-making. You use existing data, industry trends, experimentation, and your own querying / analysis skills to inform your product decisions.
- Technical aptitude. You have a solid understanding of how software is built, how engineering teams function, and how to unblock your team when technical challenges arise.
