The Ads Technology Organization is the advertising platform team within Coupang. We are a globally distributed team focused on delivering advertising solutions for those that sell products on our platform. This includes display, search, performance, brand, and video ads offerings.
With the latest advances in AI/ML, we have the opportunity to rethink the traditional ads stack to deliver unique high-quality experiences to our customers that were traditionally outside the realm of possibility. This Ads Product Leader role can be a senior individual contributor focusing on the ads ML stack with the goal of improving the value to advertisers and shoppers.
What You Will Do
Product ownership for Coupang Ads.
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to re-imagine our ads experience to deliver unique customer experiences while directing day-to-day execution towards the vision.
Launch and improve ad products that surface highly relevant results for consumers and better conversion for advertisers
Work closely with business, engineering, internal/external partners, and customers to define project requirements and success criteria
Effectively communicate, collaborate and drive alignment with a variety of stakeholders including senior executives to ensure highly scalable and performance end-to-end experience for advertisers and shoppers.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of product management experience developing and launching products in the advertising or recommendations domain
Proven ability to deliver in a complex stakeholder and partner team environment
Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment with a short iteration cadence
Multiple successful launches of V1 products in a rapid growth environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in an analytical or engineering discipline or MBA preferred
Experience working in international environments and globally distributed team
Pay & Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.
The base pay for this position ranges from $125,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $233,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
