Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations.
The PMO & Investment Oversight team resides within Group Finance, and the team comprises a mix of the following:

Financial Services subject matter experts deployed directly into PACE crews and squad teams to provide leadership in delivery management, Product Ownership, Requirements & Technical Analysis, Development, and User Acceptance Testing.

Group PMO specialists providing decision support to the Group CFO by continually monitoring, analysing and providing insights on the efficiency, efficacy and yield of the +$2b invested annually to deliver on our strategy.
Your role
As a Group PMO Senior Manager, you will be joining a team of cross-functional and multi-disciplinary subject matter experts (SMEs). The team comprises deep expertise in banking & financial services, accounting, due diligence, change and delivery management, data management, operational risk management and artificial intelligence.
You and the Group PMO will aim to supply industry leading decision support on change via:

Ensuring that a robust prioritisation and due diligence process is consistently undertaken on the Group’s change investment, including assessing the strategic alignment of prioritised initiatives.

Using empirical evidence to independently assess and monitor the efficiency, efficacy, and yield of the Group’s change investment.

Continually improving, developing and promoting best practice due diligence and reporting processes across the Group.

Building and maintaining productive relationships with other Financial Services teams and other key stakeholders.

Contributing to and enhancing the team culture and work environment of the Group PMO team, Group Finance and Financial Services.

Undertaking any other tasks as required in supporting the team to meet its objectives.
Your experience
We are interested in hearing from people who desire to work on a dynamic backlog where the topics of interest are widespread and span a large and complex banking organisation, and have:

An appetite for solving complex business problems, often dealing with uncertainty in a rapidly changing environment.

Strong commercial skills and business acumen to assess key aspects and value drivers in respect to the Group’s change investments.

Ability to form an independent and balanced view on a variety of situations, and support with evidence and critical thinking.

Ability to test and learn to drive insights.

Senior stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship building skills that enable constructive working relationships and outcomes across the Group.

The ability to communicate with clarity, both verbally and when leveraging the MS Office toolkit including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

A natural curiosity and risk mindset to help proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.

7+ years of relevant experience including excellent tertiary academic results.
