Introduction to the job 

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

You lead a group of three team leads and approximately 20 employees, shaping how collaboration, ownership, and operational discipline are lived in daily assembly operations. You challenge the status quo and drive improvements in assembly flow, quality, and delivery performance – Challenge. You bring together the right perspectives across assembly, engineering, planning, logistics, and quality to enable effective decisions – Collaboration. Role and responsibilities 
  • You lead team leads and employees both functionally and disciplinarily and continuously develop your team.

  • You plan and manage the operational assembly processes of your manufacturing group, aligned with daily, weekly, and long-term output targets.

  • You ensure compliance with relevant KPIs, particularly in quality, lead time, workplace safety, delivery reliability, and cost.

  • You own mid- and long-term scheduling and resource planning in alignment with manufacturing management.

  • You coordinate workforce allocation within your group, including shift, vacation, qualification, and training planning.

  • You drive and lead operational formats such as shopfloor and team meetings and ensure transparency in daily operations.

  • You collaborate closely with key interfaces and actively contribute your area to improvement initiatives, ramp-up activities, industrialization topics, and NPI projects.

Education and experience 
  • You hold a completed advanced qualification as a technician or master craftsman, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

  • You bring 5 years of experience in a production or assembly environment, ideally close to shopfloor, shift, or ramp-up operations.

  • You have initial of leadership experience in managing teams or organizational units.

  • You have experience in implementing improvements or further developing assembly, logistics, or shopfloor processes.

  • You are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • You bring experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).

  • You have fluent German and good to very good English skills, both written and spoken.

An unserem Standort in Berlin fertigen unsere Mitarbeitenden Schlüsselkomponenten für die ASML Lithografiesysteme. Als Teil unserer Präzisionsfertigung unterstützt du bei der Produktion optischer Komponenten, Baugruppen sowie Systeme aus Glas, Glaskeramik und Keramik für unsere High-Tech-Kleinserien, Einzelteil- und Prototypenfertigung.

Deine Aufgaben 
  • Du führst Teamleiter:innen und Mitarbeitende fachlich und disziplinarisch und entwickelst dein Team kontinuierlich weiter. 

  • Du planst und steuerst die operativen Prozesse deiner Fertigungsgruppe mit Blick auf tägliche, wöchentliche und langfristige OutputZiele. 

  • Du stellst die Einhaltung relevanter Kennzahlen sicher, insbesondere in den Bereichen Qualität, Durchlaufzeit, Arbeitssicherheit und Kosten. 

  • Du verantwortest die mittel und langfristige Termin und Ressourcenplanung in Abstimmung mit der Fertigungsleitung. 

  • Du koordinierst den Personaleinsatz innerhalb deiner Gruppe, inklusive Schicht und Urlaubsplanung. 

  • Du steuerst und führst operative Formate wie Shopfloor und TeamMeetings und sorgst für Transparenz im Tagesgeschäft. 

  • Du arbeitest eng mit relevanten Schnittstellen zusammen und bringst deinen Bereich aktiv in Verbesserungsinitiativen sowie Rampup oder NPIProjekte ein. 

 

Deine Qualifikationen 
  • Du hast eine abgeschlossene Weiterbildung zum Techniker oder Meister oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung. 

  • Du bringst 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Produktionsumfeld mit, idealerweise in einem schichtnahen Umfeld. 

  • Du hast erste oder mehrjährige max. 3 Jahre Führungserfahrung in der Leitung von Teams und Organisationseinheiten. 

  • Du verfügst über Erfahrung in der Umsetzung von Verbesserungen oder der Weiterentwicklung von Abläufen. 

  • Du arbeitest sicher mit MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). 

  • Du bringst Erfahrung im Umgang mit ERPSystemen mit (z. B. SAP). 

  • Du verfügst über verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und gute bis sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
