Group IT Test Analyst

Mō te tūranga | About the role

As a Group IT Test Analyst – Plant Systems, you’ll be part of a cross‑functional team delivering changes across our iOS and Salesforce applications that support Fulton Hogan’s plant operations. This is a 12-month fixed term role based in our Group IT office in Burnside, Christchurch.

You’ll bring strong testing capability into the team, embedding quality from design through to release.

You will:

• Plan and run tests, manage defects, keep documentation up to date, report on quality, coverage, risks and readiness for release ensuring high quality changes.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, developers, Salesforce teams and 3rd party vendors
• Support the Test lead with test strategies, plans and scripts.
• Ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of outcomes.

You’ll bring a mix of technical testing skills and the right mindset. Ideally you have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification, at least 2 years’ Test Analyst experience, and ideally ISTQB and/or exposure to tools like Webdriver, Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• The confidence to question requirements and communicate clearly with different teams and stakeholders.
• A calm, organised, team‑focused way of working – you put safety first, handle changing priorities, support others, and take pride in doing the job properly.
