We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Group IT Business Analyst to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our Group IT team based in our Christchurch office in Burnside. Reporting to the Group Digital Manager, you will focus on understanding business needs and turning them into practical solutions, documenting requirements, mapping processes, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity supporting our Group IT Digital team to deliver a key project in our digital transformation journey. You’ll work as part of a cross-Tasman project team focused on the selection and rollout of a Digital Forms platform to improve our operational efficiency and digitise core processes.

You will:
- Work closely with our New Zealand based stakeholders to support the delivery of the Digital Field Forms project.
- Gather and document business and management requirements through workshops, interviews, and process analysis.
- Be part of a trans-Tasman team, collaborating to consolidate our preferred forms platform
- Support change management through training, communications, user documentation, and ensuring our high standards for safety, quality, and the environment are maintained.

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a large or complex environment
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Business, Information Systems or IT)
- Solid grasp of business analysis
- Naturally curious with high attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to engage with all levels of the business
