What’s on offer?
We’re seeking a Group IT Salesforce Developer to join our Richmond team and play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform. In this position, you’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional Agile squads and traditional project teams to deliver safe, scalable, and high-quality Salesforce applications that support business needs and align with enterprise standards.
You’ll engage with internal business users, IT, Digital, and Salesforce squads, as well as our trusted external partners. Your expertise in platform improvements, keeping on top of the latest Salesforce releases, and supporting seamless deployments will be highly valued as we work together to strengthen our enterprise technology foundation.
In addition, you’ll be responsible for:
- Design, develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce and Salesforce APIs.
- Build and configure declarative features such as Flows, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes to support our business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business users, helping deliver solutions that make a real impact.
- Manage integrations with external platforms via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architecture.
- Support deployments and platform improvements using tools such as Salesforce DX, Gearset, and CI/CD.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases and identify opportunities to enhance our platform.
How will you connect with the role?
We’re seeking a Salesforce Developer with strong technical capabilities across Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs. Your experience with Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and automated deployment pipelines will be highly valued, as well as your knowledge of integration patterns, authentication methods, and Salesforce’s security and data architecture.
Ideally, you’ll have experience delivering outcomes in both Agile and Waterfall environments, along with your collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll hold a Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, with Developer II and/or Administrator or Platform App Builder certification regarded favourably. A relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferable.
