The Group Tax Lead is responsible for the following:
- Manage international tax planning projects, including technical research, project execution, coordination with outside advisors, implementation, and preparation of detailed documentation and support files for completed transactions, reporting to the Group Tax Director
- Partner with cross-functional teams (i.e. Transfer Pricing, Customs, Accounting, Business Development, Income Tax Accounting, Legal and Treasury) to provide tax support on cross-border transactions and operational initiatives. Includes but is not limited to review of contracts, development and presentation of tax efficient structure options, and due diligence related to potential investments / acquisitions
- Oversee limited compliance activities related to certain incentives, including managing the process with external advisors who prepare the related computations and filings
- Assist in identifying, researching, and implementing tax planning opportunities and deferral strategies for Stellantis N.V. and its global subsidiaries
- Analyze international tax items for budgets, forecasts, and provisions related to Stellantis N.V. and provide detailed support to Income Tax Accounting
- Preparation of presentations to be delivered to Senior Management related to ETR management, notably opportunities, risks, and identified solutions
- Support various audits involving global and cross-border tax matters, including document preparation and issue resolution.
- Assist with legislative tracking, modeling, and analysis of proposed changes to international income tax rules
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related degree
- Minimum 8 years of international tax experience
- Strong technical background and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support tax analysis, documentation, and reporting processes
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including effective communication, analytical thinking, and project management, to drive cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree in Taxation, or a Juris Doctorate degree
- 4 years of supervisory experience
- Certified Public Accountant
- Experience working with AI tools such as CoPilot, as well as automation solutions.
