We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and operating as a key member of the senior leadership team, this role will lead a diverse and enterprise-wide portfolio spanning Product Management, Customer Experience, Experience Design, Service Design, Digital Channels, Registration & Licensing, support for Custom Plates and Data Products portfolios.
This is a rare opportunity to influence strategy at scale and create meaningful outcomes for customers, frontline employees, government stakeholders and shareholders.
You will be responsible for defining and executing the long-term Product & Experience vision, driving digital transformation, growing organisational capability, and embedding modern product-led ways of working across the business.
As Group Head Product and Experience you will shape Enterprise Strategy, champion customers, build modern product capability, lead transformation and Innovation and develop high-performing teams.

You are an accomplished executive leader who combines strategic thinking with a deep passion for customers, products and transformation.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading large-scale product, customer experience, digital or transformation functions.
- Proven success managing complex portfolios and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.

VicRoads Registration and Licensing is passionate about making it easy for Victorians to get on the road. We have over 40 essential vehicle and driver registration and licensing services under our umbrella, with more than half (and counting) available online. We are responsible for registering over 6.5 million vehicles and issuing over 6.2 million licences for cars, motorcycles, heavy vehicles and boats. Each year we also securely process millions of online transactions and provide personalised support at our 44 customer service centres. We’re on a mission to modernise our systems, invest in new technologies and deliver innovations to streamline our services and improve customer experience, making it even easier for Victorians to get on the move.
