About the role
The Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Strategy) will deliver world class financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes for Haleon and ensure robust and accurate P&L projections for the group to drive performance and long-term value creation. The role is high-exposure with strong leadership opportunities to lead and transform Global Processes through a broad range of stakeholders ranging across the Operating Units (OU), Categories & Exec.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning including Global Business Partnering
Lead and support the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Integrated Growth Plan (IGP) processes, including the strategic partnering throughout the organisation, target setting, preparation of guidance, modelling and process ownership, influencing & consolidations, and creation of Haleon Executive Team level presentational materials.
Lead and support other key global processes and organisational preparations
Act as a trusted & credible business partner to drive value across our Direct Team, Global and OU functions (incl. P&F leads) for ad-hoc analysis & insights, and be the contact-point for further support
Partner teams to ensure functional and systems compliance, and engage broadly across the business to deliver other critical areas such as strategic fx modelling and share plan financials
Qualifications and skills
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Finance or Business Development).
ACCA / CIMA / MBA (Finance) / Similar accounting qualification.
Strong understanding of key financial statements.
Strong analytical capabilities and advanced excel & other systems skills, including managing large datasets and ability to turn complex concepts into financial models.
Strong communication skills, ability to articulate complex concepts to senior stakeholders in a clear manner.
Strong project management skills; ability to drive projects from inception to conclusion
Growth mindset, creative thinking and ability to work independently.
Preferred
Performance management and full P&L experience in a fast-moving business, with multiple iterations of forecast evolution. Strong business acumen.
Proven background in financial management and analysis experience, ideally including experience in Consumer Health or FMCG industries.
Experience in management reporting system SAP and other Analysis tools such as Excel and Thinkcell
Experience (or thirst for continuous improvement) leveraging AI to automate and reduce manual workloads in FP&A environment.
