Group Financial Director (Controlling)

The Mission:

We are looking forhighly disciplined technical leader who has proven experience navigating complex corporate environments and can drive the transformation of traditional financial processes into streamlined, automated systems.

In this role, you will oversee our global control and consolidation function, ensuring flawless financial reporting in compliance with IFRS standards, while building, scaling, and mentoring a high-performing international team.

The Role:

Global Consolidation & IFRS Expertise

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation across all Group entities

• Ensure full compliance with IFRS standards and local GAAP requirements

• Act as the internal expert on complex accounting matters, delivering investment-grade reporting

Automation & Process Optimization

• Drive automation and transformation of accounting and reporting processes to reduce time-to-close

• Optimize ERP and BI tools to eliminate manual tasks and ensure a single source of truth

• Implement continuous improvements in workflows between headquarters and subsidiaries

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and scale the central accounting and control team

• Define and monitor KPIs, fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented culture

• Coordinate with regional finance leaders to ensure alignment and effective communication

Audit, Tax & Compliance

• Lead the relationship with external auditors and manage the annual audit process to achieve a clean opinion

• Design and maintain a strong internal control framework to mitigate risks

• Support M&A and fundraising activities through financial due diligence and data room preparation

What we need:

• Experience: +10 years of solid track record. Essential experience as a Group Controller in large corporate or multinational environments, following a strong foundation in external audit.

• IFRS Expert: Proven expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS regulations.

• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing direct teams and the ability to inspire technical profiles.

• Digital Mindset: Passion for finance technology; experience in ERP implementation/optimization and reporting automation tools.

• Languages: Expert level in English and Spanish
