Verisure is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join Group Reporting Centre (GRC), with colleagues in Sweden, Madrid, and other locations.
This new position will work in the area of Group consolidation, reporting and budgeting and the main focus is to improve quality and analysis of Group Adjustments and Eliminations in the Budget and Forecast scenarios but also the quality and consistency of data reported from operational countries to the Group.

About the role
As Group Financial Controller, you will be part of the Group Reporting Centre and become a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve its objectives. We work together as a team with shared responsibilities and your areas of responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- HFM (the Consolidation application) is considered to hold the truth –the role is crucial to control and deliver the highest quality and reliability of financial data
- The Budget and Forecast processes for Group Adjustments and Eliminations
- Coordinate the forward-looking processes with Group FP&A and other teams
- Be involved in the monthly closings, do quality checks of the reported financial and operational data
- Maintain and prepare the GRC applications and tools for forward looking scenarios.
- Develop and digitalize processes to secure highest quality and timely deliverables
- Train HFM users in their roles as controllers and/or reporters
The position will be based in Malmö, Sweden, and you will be seated together with colleagues from GRC and Group Finance Control. The global Group Finance team is based in Geneva, Malmö, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, and Linköping.
What you bring
We are looking for a self-starter and open-minded team player with an eye for detail to deliver with high quality on a timely manner. We also see that you have the following experience and qualifications:
Experience and qualifications:
- High education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business
- 4+ years of relevant experience of financial accounting processes or similar in a complex and international setting
- Good knowledge of IFRS regulations and/or group consolidation/accounting
- Excellent analytical skills, able to navigate in an international/multicultural environment
- Good knowledge in Excel
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge in other languages is meriting
Meriting:
- Experience of HFM or other consolidation applications
- Working in an international or listed company
